What causes female infertility?

Male infertility can also be caused by lifestyle choices such as smoking and alcohol consumption or exposure to toxins such as lead and mercury in the environment or workplace.
The main cause of male infertility is the lack of sperm production. This happens when the testes do not make enough sperm or when the tubes that carry sperm from the testes are blocked or damaged.
